3.) Transfer of data

A transfer of your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those listed below does not take place.

We only pass on your personal data to third parties if:

4.) Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device and do not contain any viruses, Trojans or other malware.

Information is stored in the cookie that results in connection with the specific device used. However, this does not mean that we are immediately aware of your identity.

The use of cookies serves on the one hand to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. We use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages on our website. These are automatically deleted after leaving our site.

In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimize user-friendliness, which are stored on your device for a specific period of time. If you visit our site again to use our services, it will automatically recognize that you have already visited us and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to re-enter them.

On the other hand, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for you in order to optimize our offer (see section 5). These cookies enable us to automatically recognize when you visit our site again that you have already visited us. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time.

The data processed by cookies are required for the purposes mentioned to safeguard our legitimate interests and those of third parties in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit.f GDPR.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a message always appears before a new cookie is created. However, if you completely deactivate cookies, you may not be able to use all the functions of our website.

5.) Analysis and tracking tools

The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. With the tracking measures used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and continuous optimization of our website. On the other hand, we use tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for you in order to optimize our offer. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned regulation.

The respective data processing purposes and data categories can be found in the corresponding tracking tools.

a.) Google Analytics

For the purpose of the needs-based design and continuous optimization of our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/ (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter referred to as “Google”). In this context, pseudonymised usage profiles are created and cookies (see section 4) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website such as

are transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage for the purposes of market research and the needs-based design of these internet pages. This information may also be passed on to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of us. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other Google data. The IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking). You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting the browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case not all functions of this website can be used to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on . As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking on this link . An opt-out cookie will be set which prevents the future collection of your data when you visit this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you will have to set the opt-out cookie again. Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics can be found in the Google Analytics Help .

b.) Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

We also use Google Conversion Tracking to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our website. Google Adwords will set a cookie (see section 4) on your computer if you have reached our website via a Google ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Adwords customer’s website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can see that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Every Adwords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The Adwords customers find out the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. If you do not want to take part in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this – for example via a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies. You can also deactivate cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser so that cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com” are blocked. You can find Google’s data protection information on conversion tracking here: https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html

c.) New Relic

We use services from New Relic, Inc. on our website and web server, which develops cloud-based software that website and application owners can use to track the performance of their services. New Relic offers us the opportunity to record and improve the stability of our services by monitoring the system and code errors, as well as to determine statistical evaluations of the technical performance of our services (e.g. the duration of a specific database query, the stability and availability of our servers, or the response time of our servers). For this purpose, application and browser data are collected and stored in certain browser versions using cookies in the browser (cookies are only stored in the following browser versions: Internet Explorer <9, Firefox <10, Chrome <13, Safari <8, Opera < 15, Safari iOS <9, Opera Mini, Android <4, Opera Mobile <13). Your IP address and activities carried out on our website are recorded. In this case, your data will be passed on to the operator, New Relic, Inc., San Francisco, California, US. New Relic is used on the basis of our legitimate interests, ie interest in optimizing our services in accordance with Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The specific storage period of the processed data cannot be influenced by us, but is determined by New Relic, Inc. Further information can be found in the data protection declaration for New Relic: https://newrelic.com/termsandconditions/privacy

We use social plug-ins from the social networks Facebook, Xing, Twitter, Google Plus, Instagram and YouTube on our website on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. The underlying advertising purpose is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. Responsibility for the data protection-compliant operation is to be guaranteed by the respective provider. We integrate these plug-ins using the so-called two-click method in order to protect visitors to our website in the best possible way.

6.) Social media plug-ins

We use social plug-ins from the social networks Facebook, Xing, Twitter, Google Plus, Instagram and YouTube on our website on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. The underlying advertising purpose is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. Responsibility for the data protection-compliant operation is to be guaranteed by the respective provider. We integrate these plug-ins using the so-called two-click method in order to protect visitors to our website in the best possible way.

a.) Facebook

Social media plugins from Facebook are used on our website to make their use more personal. We may use the “LIKE” and “SHARE” buttons for this purpose. We may also use the Facebook tracking pixel for marketing purposes. This is an offer from Facebook.

When you call up a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plug-in is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser, which integrates it into the website.

By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account or are not currently logged into Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign your visit to our website directly to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example press the “LIKE” or “SHARE” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook and displayed to your Facebook friends.

Facebook can use this information for the purpose of advertising, market research and the needs-based design of Facebook pages. For this purpose, usage, interest and relationship profiles are created by Facebook, e.g. B. to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the advertisements shown to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website and to provide other services related to the use of Facebook.

If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our website to your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your related rights and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Facebook’s data protection information .

b.) Xing

Xing plugins are also used on our website. The social network “Xing” is operated by Xing AG, Dammtorstrasse 30, 20354 Hamburg, DE. This plug-in is identified by the Xing logo on the website. When you call up a page on our website that contains such a plugin, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Xing server. As a result, Xing contains the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you have a user account with this provider and are logged in, the data retrieved will be assigned to this account. If you do not want such an assignment, you must log out of Xing before visiting the website. For more details, see theTake the data protection regulations from Xing .

c.) Twitter

Plugins of the short message network of Twitter Inc. (Twitter) are integrated on our website. You can recognize the Twitter plugins (tweet button) by the Twitter logo on our website. You can find an overview of tweet buttons here .

When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plugin, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Twitter server. Twitter receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the Twitter “tweet button” while you are logged into your Twitter account, you can link the content of our pages to your Twitter profile. This enables Twitter to assign your visit to our website to your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the website, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or how it is used by Twitter.

If you do not want Twitter to be able to assign your visit to our website, please log out of your Twitter user account.

Further information can be found in Twitter’s data protection declaration .

d.) Instagram

Our website also uses so-called social plugins (“plugins”) from Instagram, which is operated by Instagram LLC., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Instagram”).

The plugins are marked with an Instagram logo, for example in the form of an “Instagram camera”.

When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Instagram servers. The content of the plug-in is transmitted directly from Instagram to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not currently logged into Instagram.

This information (including your IP address) is sent directly from your browser to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to Instagram, Insta-gram can immediately assign your visit to our website to your Instagram account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the “Instagram” button, this information is also transmitted directly to an Instagram server and stored there.

The information is also published on your Instagram account and shown to your contacts there.

If you do not want Instagram to directly assign the data collected via our website to your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website.

You can find more information on this in Instagram’s privacy policy .

e.) YouTube

Our website uses YouTube videos that are stored on https://www.youtube.com servers and can be played directly on our website. If you play these videos, the data mentioned below will be transferred. We have no influence on this data transfer.

When you visit the website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. This takes place regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account that you are logged in to or whether there is no user account. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish to be assigned to your profile on YouTube, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube saves your data as a usage profile and uses it for advertising, market research and / or needs-based design of its website. Such an evaluation takes place in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, although you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.

The legal basis for the processing of your data in relation to the “YouTube” service is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f) GDPR (legitimate interest in data processing). The legitimate interest arises from our need for an appealing presentation of our online offer.

f.) Facebook fan page

We maintain a so-called “fan page” on Facebook. However, this is an offer from Facebook.

We have agreed to the terms and conditions for commercial use of Facebook. When you visit our fan page on Facebook, your browser first establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The data processing is carried out by Facebook. As a fan page operator, however, we have the option of using so-called “Insights” from Facebook. This enables us to access the data processed by Facebook. In this way we receive information about the usage behavior of our fan page visitors. Access to these insights is an indispensable part of the user relationship between us and Facebook. We receive anonymized statistical data on fan page visitors from Facebook. According to our current knowledge, Facebook has to inform all users about the specific design of the data processing. At the current time, we are also not aware of the exact processing operations. As soon as we have a corresponding statement from Facebook, we will inform you about it here. You can find the current data protection regulations of Facebook here .

7.) Integration of further tools

Google Web Fonts

Our website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (Google) for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to the Google servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts takes place in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.

Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy .

Google Maps

We use Google Maps on this website to display interactive maps and to create directions. Google Maps is a map service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA. By using Google Maps, information about the use of this website including your IP address and the (start) address entered as part of the route planner function can be transmitted to Google in the USA. When you visit a page on our website that contains Google Maps, your browser establishes a direct connection with the Google servers. The content of the map is sent directly from Google to your browser, which integrates it into the website. We therefore have no influence on the amount of data that Google collects in this way. As far as we know, this is at least the following data, if you have accepted the corresponding cookies:

We have no influence on the further processing and use of the data by Google and therefore cannot accept any responsibility for this.

If you do not want Google to collect, process or use data about you via our website, you can deactivate JavaScript in your browser settings and generally block the setting of cookies. In this case, however, you cannot use the map display.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Google as well as your related rights and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Google’s data protection information ( https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de ).

By using our website, you consent to the processing of the data collected about you by Google Maps route planner in the manner described above and for the purpose stated above.

10.) Data security

We use the widespread SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser when you visit our website. As a rule, this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
